Centre for Sustainable Development

The Centre for Sustainable Development is the result of a collaborative effort on the part of non-profit organizations working to improve the human condition through preservation of the environment. This project offers the opportunity for direct contact with the public at large and suggests a new way of perceiving the urban landscape. By creating a symbiotic relationship between the interior and the exterior, nature constitutes an integral part of the building. A sophisticated ecological construction, a LEED Platinum NC Certification, right in downtown Montréal, the Centre for Sustainable Development raises questions about our relationship to the environment and to society.
