Preparing the ground for sustainable development

We are aware that all construction has a major environmental impact and that this damage affects everyone. Nonetheless, it is possible to reduce these effects through building differently. This is why we are committed to the path of sustainable development.

We belong to the Canada Green Building Council and the organizing committee of its Québec chapter. In addition, the number of our employees who are LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) accredited by the Canada Green Building Council continues to grow.

Beyond this commitment, our experience is paramount. It has been acquired through many LEED certified projects, through ongoing LEED certification processes and through applying sustainable development principles to all of our projects. Amongst these undertakings are the École Polytechnique’s Lassonde Buildings, the first LEED Gold certified educational buildings in Québec and a reference project in the field. We are also the architects for the Centre for Sustainable Development, focusing on economic, social and environmental innovations and bringing together forces working positively for the environment. This urban structure, in the forefront of ecological construction, obtained LEED Platinum certification in 2013.

The buildings we design have an immediate and future effect on our environment. We are determined to reduce this environmental cost through a measurable improvement in buildings’ energy management, resource conservation and performance.
